Reflections is one of the longest-running national arts program in the United States, engaging over 10 million students since 1969. It gives students the opportunity to express themselves, unleash creative talents and be inspired, experience the fun and joy of making art, tap into critical thinking skills, and receive positive recognition for their original works of art.
The 2026–27 theme is “What My Culture Means to Me”, encouraging students to explore their identity, heritage, and creativity through the arts in six different categories: Dance Choreography, Literature, Photography, Film Production, Music Composition, and Visual Arts.Contact your School PTA/PTSA if you are interested in participating or need more information.

11/18/26 – District Reflections Due Date – November 18, 2026 (See below)
Spring 2027 – Reflections/ Music Scholarship Gala Showcase (TBD – April)

Would it be possible to add another webpage to highlight the above District Due Date and make it clickable to a new page with more more information on the District Due Date and what is needed to be turned in – I’m not sure how to do this since the “general public” doesn’t need this info but participating Units would need the info. I’d appreciate your expertise in adding the info
District Reflections Due Date – November 18, 3pm & 12-midnightAll participating units MUST have Current Insurance & Bylaws and turn in:Via email at 11/18 – 12-midnight to
- Virtual Form for Reflections / Computer sheet emailed by midnight
- Please copy Google Form and Rename it with your PTA name:
- Student entries should be collected on this Google Form saved w your PTA name
- Please check that All Student Artwork Links are ”Share” to Anyone with a Link
- Unit Reflections form
Bring to 31st PTA/PTSA District Office by 3PM17445 Cantlay Street, Lake Balboa, CA 91406
a Completed Unit Reflections form
Original 1st place, Award of Excellence winners from your School PTA/PTSA Unit, in Photography and Visual (fine) Arts will need to be turned into the District Office NO LATER THAN 3PM and must be accompanied by a Student Submission Form signed by the parent
Artwork should Not have student names on front but Must have Student Name, School PTA Name and Grade written on the back or bottom of each piece.

CAPTA requires that All Visual & Photography pieces MUST have a parent signed Student Submission Form signed by the parent. This expedites judging at the State Level and acts as a media release.
